It has been a long sort of day, and as I was driving home tonight I found myself preparing a list of things to blog about that bug me. However I am really trying not to focus on the hate, since hate just builds up and makes us start saying nasty things that we don't really even believe. With the goal of happy in mind I decided that rather than things that bug me, I would instead think of ten things that have made me smile today.

So in a somewhat chronological order...

1. Waking up to this thing

2. Reading this book

3. Inspiring my students with intense scratchboard pictures, and then watching them undertake real scratchboard art, and do so well.

4. Watching my athletes get gihugous pr's in the 1600.

5. Finding this

in my bag at the track meet when the cold front slammed us.

6. Hearing exactly what the last lyrics of this song are.

7. Coming home to this

8. Coming home to this

9. Picking this

up and hearing him purr.

10. Realizing I still have some of this left to watch before I go to sleep.

While this all might appear a bit too rain-drop-on-rosey, it has been much more fun recounting this than anything else that may have occurred today.

Yesterday (the 13th) was a pretty spectacularly bad day for me, too. I wouldn't mind complaining about it more, but you took the right approach. Good list, too. If I were to make a list of my own, this blog would probably be on it: http://www.fiberfarm.com/blog
It helps that it is lambing and kidding season, too.
