The ramblings of a mad cat lady, who's only escape from her all consuming job are the doodles and cartoons featuring rabbits that may or may not represent real life situations.

Houses and the Worries that Come With Them
Well my loan was approved today, and since the sellers agreed to fix everything (except the sewer line, which we didn't ask for anyway, long story) it's official. I'm buying a house. EEEEEEEEEK!

I'm a little worried about how the pig will react to the move, he can't even handle going out to the studio when we are down south (although, in that case I think there really is some bad juju out there for some reason).
the pig

I'm taking the ancient black-and-white faced dog, and I'm pretty sure she'll be fine with the move. I'm more worried about her and the cats. She can get jealous, which in turn leads to her cobra behavior.

I'm sure my bad cat will be a little wigged at first, but overall he'll adjust fine. He will happily take to destroying the new space with the same vim and vigor that he has approached in all his previous experiences. He is a really bad cat.

Hot Day
Well my bad cat has spent most of the day sleeping in a grocery bag. This is one of the hottest days of the year so far, and he's spent it tucked up.

The other animals have all been lolling about the house. Here's the white faced dog cooling down in the hall.

I've spent the day slowly packing, which my bad cat helped with in his usual fashion.

He's Even Bad When He's Asleep
So recently I was kept awake by my bad cat as he struggled to find the right sleeping position in my to-do basket. This got me thinking about all the places that he likes to sleep. It's usually the most inappropriate place in the room with the most people, thus he gets the attention he so desires.
During the last year this attention was accomplished by his insistent nesting on my research project. He spent quite a bit of time rearranging my research project to his liking, which usually included putting half of the articles on the floor, and crumpling the other half.
He is a very bad cat.
The new sleeping spot.

Sleeping on the counter in various manners.

Taking his life in his paws.

Trying to share.

Because dirty laundry smells so good.

Because furry bellies smell even better.

This is what end tables are for.

Snug as yadda yadda yadda.
